Tummel River

From this particular point of the river you can admire the beautiful north facing peaks of Mount Schiehallion without the climb. No matter where you stop along this route you will be surrounded by lush greenery and (hopefully) blue skies.

Kenmore Hill

With stunning views for miles, Kenmore Hill provides you with a bird's eye view of Loch Tay and the mountains beyond. You can admire the shrubbery on your way as native Scottish trees, such as the Scots pine, have been planted along the route to the top.

Dunkeld Town Bridge

You don’t have to travel far out of the town for this one, but it doesn’t make the scenery any less spectacular. The bridge, built in the early 1800s, crosses the River Tay. It offers views both when you look upon the bridge and admire it from afar, rolling hills and town houses create a quaint view of this beautiful town.

Ben Vrackie

Towering over the town of Pitlochry, this 841m high mountain provides a view for as far as the eye can see. No matter which direction you turn you will not be disappointed. The rise is well worth the trek and if timed correctly you can watch the sun set behind the silhouette of the Tay Vallen in the west.

Hermitage

From the Black Linn falls to Pine Cone Point the Hermitage in Dunkeld offers endless photo opportunities. Hidden in the middle of a forest this location combines magic and mystery whilst transporting you to a new world. You will think you’ve stumbled through the wardrobe and into Narnia with this one.

The Queen’s View

Does it get any better? A view fit for a Queen indeed. Cascading over Loch Tummel you won't know where to look on this one. From sunrise to sunset this location offers nothing less than a first class experience.

Drummond Hill

Drummond Hill is certainly not a one trick pony. From rare wildlife to rocky seats to vast valleys, there is much to see when you visit this location. Providing charming views of Kenmore Village, Loch Tay, Taymouth Castle and Strathtay Valley, you better make sure you have a camera with you as you’re going to want to capture these sights.

Falls of Acharn

Gaze upon one of Perthshire’s finest waterfalls just outside Aberfeldy. Watch as the water cascades gracefully as it works its way towards Loch Tay. The mystical sprays from the waterfall makes it look like something out of a fairytale.

Pass of Killiecrankie

Gouged into the landscape over the years by successive ice ages and melt waters this mountain pass is best know for its outstanding beauty. This being the case it is not one for the faint hearted as in certain conditions can be rather dangerous. The River Garry winds in the valley below the pass on its way to join the River Tummel.

Carn Liath

Carn Liath, translating to ‘grey mountains,’ is the lowest of three summits near Blair Atholl. The 975m rise is a popular choice as it allows climbers to feel on top of the world. The clear walk way, carved by the sheer number of visitors, has made this one of the most prominent of the three summits and can be spotted for miles.
